Childen's Painting Competition
UNEP invites children from around the world to express their thoughts on climate change through the medium of art. The winner will be awarded during World Environment Day observance in Tromsoe in June 2007.
This year UNEP, the United Nations Environment Programme launches the 16th International Children’s Painting Competition on the Environment in cooperation with the Japan-based Foundation for Global Peace and Environment (FGPE), Bayer and the Nikon Corporation. The competition is open for children between 6 and 14 years.Â
The winners of each region will be invited to celebrate The World Environmet Day in Tromsø, and the paintings will be part of an exhibition at Tromsø Museum, The University Museum during summer 2007. Read more about the museum here: http://uit.no/tmu/152/?Language=en
